Melissa is the co-founder and COO of Camelot.ai, a platform for gaming content streamers to simultaneously increase audience engagement and better monetize viewers' support. Founded by three Harvard computer science graduates, Camelot enables fans to support creators through conditional donations called “bounties,” which are only paid out if a donor-specified condition is fulfilled by the streamer. For streamers, Camelot offers a novel way to simultaneously monetize their audience and better align the content they create with what viewers want to see.
Camelot is backed by the Philadelphia 76ers and Y Combinator, a top startup accelerator in the U.S. known for being early investors in Airbnb and Dropbox. They recently raised a $1.5 million seed round fresh out of Y Combinator’s Summer 2018 batchCam.
